Album 4 - Shayla, Rev and Joyce in
Yellowknife, NT
March 2005 -
I visit Shayla's school.
Shayla, Rev and Yellowknife are featured in my children's chapter book,
3 On A Moonbeam.
My granddaughter, Shayla (10) and her dog Rev, live in Yellowknife,
Northwest Territory in Northern Canada. The first picture shows a small map
inset of Canada so you can see exactly where it is. They are so far north,
they usually have snow from at least October - April but this doesn't stop
them from having lots of fun as you will see by these photos. Each picture
is explained by a caption at the bottom.
I happened on this website about 2 guys on motorbikes
travelling from Seattle to Yellowknife and back, approx. 3300 miles. It's worth
looking at for the wonderful shots of Western Canadian
scenery. So far,
I've been to Yellowknife twice, both trips in winter.
